Meet Patrick Agurkis
Owner, Worcester County Chimney & Masonry
More than 25 years on the rooftops and at the hearths of Central Massachusetts — building a company that still runs on one standard: do it right, and treat every home as your own.
His Story
Patrick Agurkis has spent his working life on the rooftops and at the hearths of Central Massachusetts. He entered the trade in 1999, learning chimney and masonry work hands-on alongside several respected area companies — J.E. Fournier, Richard's Chimney & Masonry, MetroWest Chimney, and Dale Lorraine Masonry. Those early years laid the foundation of craftsmanship that still defines his work today.
A three-year stint in Florida as an apprentice plumber (2006–2009) deepened his understanding of how a home's systems fit and function together. Back in Massachusetts, he spent the next four years running the masonry crew at All In One Chimney — selling, estimating, stocking, and personally performing the masonry that kept the company's crews moving.
In early March 2014, Patrick set out on his own, launching Worcester County Chimney & Masonry from a booth at the Worcester Home Show — and, in his words, "haven't looked back since." The company literally began in his grandfather's basement before growing into a shop on Prescott Street in Worcester, and then, after that building sold in 2020, into its current home in Leicester.
Do it right, clean up as though you were never there, and treat every home as if it were your own.
More than a decade later, Patrick still meets customers at their homes, walks every job himself, and writes the clear, honest quotes his customers mention time and again. Whether it's a Forever Flex liner, a full chimney rebuild, custom brick matched to a century-old home, or a decade of waterproofing protection, he holds his crew to the standard he set on day one.
Backed by a 4.8-star reputation and BBB accreditation, Patrick and his team have earned the trust of homeowners across Worcester County — one chimney at a time.
